Paintwork Services at Crossflags

SMART repair stands for Small to Medium Area Repair Technology and is a technique for repairing minor cosmetic damage on vehicles, such as scratches, dents, and scuffs after accidents.

It focuses on localised repairs, using specialist tools and materials to blend the repaired area to the surrounding paintwork, rather than having to paint/replace entire panels.  This method is generally faster and more cost-effective than traditional bodyshop repairs.

A SMART repair is often cheaper. Not because of reduced quality, far from it, but because there is less work required. Due to the low cost, you likely won’t need to claim through your insurance company and, therefore, won’t lose your No Claims discount. SMART repairs are rapid, cost effective and high quality, with most work being able to be completed within the same day.
